Looking ahead, THC adheres to the corporate purpose of "honest business, caring for employees, giving back to society, market focus, customer orientation, and talent cultivation," as well as the work attitude of being “dedicated, meticulous, and responsible.” We will continue to actively maintain smooth communication channels with stakeholders and work together towards the goals of environmental protection, social engagement, and corporate governance, in order to meet the expectations of shareholders, employees, and the society for our company.

The world is being affected by climate change, and extreme weather events have become a threat to both the ecosystems and human living conditions. Looking back at this year, according to statistics cited by the United Nations from relief organizations, the average monetary loss from the top ten climate-related disasters have reached 3 billion dollars. Many regions have suffered from severe impacts such as storms, floods, and droughts, causing casualties and homelessness. It is evident that the disastrous situations caused by extreme weather has become more severe, requiring the attention and responsibility of the business community and individuals to protect the environment, which is the fundamental key to achieving sustainability.

THC continues to promote a balanced development in the three aspects of ESG

In addition to focusing on steady development and expanding business operations, also we actively responds to initiatives such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
In 2022, we received the “Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Model Corporate Award”and the“Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report- Gold Award” from the TCSA.

Care for Employees


  • We received the highest honor of the "Happiness Workplace Award" and the "5-Star Award" in the evaluation performed by the Taichung City Government

  • The " Labor Proposal Gold Commendation and Excellent Work Award" presented by the Ministry of Labor's Labor Development Bureau.

Environmental Efforts


  • We were awarded the ” Outstanding Enterprise in Taichung City for Promoting Circular Economy and Reducing Pollution and Coal Incentives” by the Taichung City Government.

  • The government announced the "Sustainable Development Path for Listed Companies" in March 2022, and THC proactively conducted greenhouse gas inventories and obtained ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas verification in November 2022. The company also signed the Yushan Bank Sustainable Partner Initiative, declaring its commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

  • Furthermore, an energy-saving project plan has been proposed and will be implemented starting in 2023. For example, we will build a solar power system on the roof of the Free Trade Zone Plant. It is estimated that electricity will generate 1,929,025 kWh per year, reducing external power demand and improving power-saving benefits. In regards to innovative products, the company received the "Innovative Packaging Design Gold Award" and "Silver Award" from the Taiwan Society of Food Science and Technology, as well as the "Outstanding Innovation and Research and Development Manufacturer" award from the Taichung Industrial Association.
