Introduced the ISO 14001 environmental management system. This allows for the control of air pollution emissions of the entire plant through improvements based on external audits and self-examinations.
Action
The primary air pollutants in the Company's plant are volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The packaging business’s VOCs are produced by inks and solvents used in label printing; The source of VOCs in the beverage business are chemicals used for cleaning and sterilizing process equipment. THC's production process complies with the laws and regulations, so there were no fines regarding air pollution in 2022.
To reduce the air pollutant in the production process, the Company introduced an Italian flexographic printing machine in 2019, it can reduce VOCs emissions by more than 95% compared with traditional printing production.
